1969 Ambassador 390 2 dr Hardtop
2dr hard top owned by Steve Brown with a fair amount of rust repair and a repaint repaint – body work and paint done awaiting final reassembly. Expected completion date of Spring 2014
“Another project at the AMC shop is a very rare and loaded Ambo DPL with factory 390 auto. It now has a full control freak suspension setup and is getting a full exterior, engine bay, drivetrain and inside of the trunk restoration.Steve Brown’s 69 AMBO hardtop is coming along nicely. This is not intended to be our typical full dismantle and restoration rather it is just a body and drivetrain refresh on a tight budget (traded his 69 Cougar XR7 that Matt Wilson now has and some cool old machinist equipment) replacing all the rusted metal and removing and redoing all former body repairs, engine and tranny rebuild and ths beautiful base clear paint job.”
